I'm doing something similar now - a Folder Organizer folder with more folders inside it. Working well for me, and I can keep my screens down to one with only the four icons.I use one screen only and everything else in the app drawer.

I do have a large Remember the Milk widget on a second page, but nothing actionable.

Beautiful Widgets + Go Launcher
Very simple, I have more clutter on the other screens, home screen is for looking at

I rooted so I could use Screen Shot It, then unrooted, and Screen Shot It still works just fine.

Finally whittled my icons down. The dog's head is a Folder Organizer folder of all my most used apps.
Obviously going to test Screen Grabber a well.
Well here is my locked screen and my Home screen. I was digging mine until I seen some of yours. Time to start playing with mine again and see what I get.

Go Launcher with the Digital Clock widget, and at the bottom I just added two application icons, the screen off app on the left and the battery widget on the right.What screen off widget are you using?

Whats with the Camera and what looks to be a sheild in everyones notification bar on top of the screen? what apps are they?
