Help Fetching Fetching Fetching...where's the STICK!?!?

While using the stock Gmail app, not the Mail app, if there are photo attachments to an email, I get 2 options, download or preview. When I press preview it attempts to generate the preview and it stays fetching FOREVER, never showing a preview of the photo. THe same holds for the download option. Eventually after trying to download numerous times, it will eventually but then I have to go into the download folder and delete the photos. I don't want to have to do this all the time and if i could preview them, it would help.

Anyone else having this problem or have a solution?? Thanks.

I've done the "clear cache" thingy and no help. What do you mean by re-download? Bc honestly, in the last 24-48 hours, gmail has been getting pretty glitchy. I haven't been getting emails as flawlessly as I was in the past. :mad::( << (in that order!) LOL!
