Few things I miss :(

A few things I miss with my iPhone is. Twitter I preferred that on the iPhone the standard one on this you don't see half pics it opens the browser. Elfin you can't see replies to people's tweets.

Emoji. If you add a smiley to a text it changes to Mrs :( and the little pics don't show properly.

But there's also a lot I do like the style style keyboard the c screen the battery life etc.

Just wish it had some of the things I miss :(

I hear you.

I don't really use those features much, so I can not advise specifically, but I feel confident there are apps that would suit your needs that will run on the phone. :)

We can't have it all, there's no perfect smartphone to please everyone.

I'd rather focus on what I do like about the Note 3, and my list is very long!

Let's see, what do I miss about my iPhone?

I miss needing to google something, and not being able to read the results on the itsy bitsy screen.

I miss the cartoonish UI, that looks like it was designed for first graders.

I miss not being able to multitask, or drag and drop, or typing on a keyboard so small that my most embarrassing texting mistakes are my best Facebook image uploads.

I'm getting all teary eyed now.

I never had an iPhone but the things I miss from my S2 are not one. I thoght I'd miss having 4 capacitative buttons across the bottom but going back and using the S2 I barely remembered where they were.

I never had an iPhone either I been a loyal HTC groupie since I can remember I had the HTC One S before my note3 and the only thing this note3 is missing is audio beats it made the HTC one S sound was so awesome and loud vs the note3 but I guess it's worth the exchange the HTC one Max has nothing on the note3 power so I'm glad I didn't wait for it but I do miss having loud quality sound on my phone plus the camera on the HTC one S could take pictures so fast it was great.

That's it is just your always going to miss something if your used to one platform. If I went back to a iPhone there would be alt if miss about this.

Is the HTC one s different to the one. I had that briefly I really liked it pics and audio = amazing

Well, first off, if you used the original twitter app on iPhone you have been missing out on some awesomeness. Tweetbot on iPhone is SO much better than the twitter app.

For a great twitter experience on your Note 3 I recommend Plume Pro or Falcon Pro. Both are much better than tweetbot.

As far as emojis goes, not gonna happen on Android.

Now to the things I miss about my iPhone:

Surprisingly enough, I miss iMessage. A lot of friends and family have iPhones and iPads and it made messaging them so much easier. I also liked that I could see if they read it or not. I know there is BBM in all markets now, but it isn't something everyone will download.

On the iPhone there is an app made by Junecloud that was a Package Tracker. This app has such a beautiful UI and always worked flawlessly. It also had the added bonus of being able to detect that there was a tracking number you just copied to your clipboard and it automatically detected the carrier as well so all I had to do was name the package and I was good to go. The closest I've found to this on Android is Parcels and it's not even close to being on par with the iPhone app I previously mentioned.

Well I made the big mistake of getting the iPhone 5 last year and I'm pretty well sick of it now, the latest android phones wipe the floor with this phone, when I get some cash I'm thinking about trading it in for either the HTC one or a galaxy s4 😒

Gonna give plume a try can't find falcon on the market

You will not find Falcon Pro in the Play store. There was a kerfuffle between the dev of Falcon, Joaquim Verges and Twitter because the Falcon client was more awesome than Twitter wanted it to be and Falcon had more users than Twitter wanted them to have. Twitter wanted all of the users to use their official client, even though it was inferior so they took steps to try and starve out Falcon Pro and many other third party Twitter clients. JV kept coming up with work arounds for the blocks Twitter kept putting up. They played cat and mouse like this until eventually, JV created a workaround so genius, Twitter could not counter it (at least, not without a tremendous amount of collateral damage). Unfortunately, said genius work around also violated some Play store rules so JV pulled Falcon from the Play store and set up a separate website where you can download the client for free. Here is the link:

Falcon Pro

Since this is a 'side loaded' app, don't forget to go to Settings>Device>Security and check the Unknown Sources box to "allow installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store". You will need to do this right before you install the app.

Here are the instructions to set up the newly installed app and the 'workaround' you will need to use it.

It's quite a few hoops to jump through but it's worth the payoff!
The client is very good and very stable. He offers it for free but if you use it, please consider giving Joaquim a donation. His level of tenacity and loyalty to his customers is incredible. If you need an example of a dev 'going balls to the wall' for his customers, this is definitely it. Plus he does excellent work.

When I read this I got the feeling that someone had read my mind word for word. ;)

The only thing I miss from my iPhone is pocket life calendar app, they don't seem to make it for Android, so I'm looking for a decent calendar that displays all my events in different colours with name tags in month view then I'll be happy lol

I was using an iPhone 4 and the Note 2 concurrently. I then switched to an iPhone 5 while I was waiting for the Note 3 as I sold my Note 2. I started to hate the iPhone 4. In some situations I'd have to use it as my main phone and not take my Note, it made me hate it. The iPhone 5 however, the extra big of screen did really make a difference, to the point where I almost cancelled my Note 3 order :-o. I have now sold the iPhone 5 as I felt bad having two top phones and for my second cheaper (lol) phone I've got a Desire. Considering getting an iPhone 4 again for a second phone. There's 3 things I miss from the iPhone. One being emoji icons, my partner has an iPhone and regularly sends me a smilie but, the Note 3s equivalent sends them as MMS :-(. I also miss iMessage, even though it was only my partner I text. Lastly, the email app. Nothing really compares on Android :-(. Have been using inomail which is alright but, picked up an ipad last week, didn't realise how much I missed the ios mail app!

Texting and writing is so much easier on the Note though :-)

I miss the 4 inch display, the near total lack of customization, and the awful reality of being locked within Apple's crystal prison. Yes, I really miss my iPhone. NOT!!!

I never had an iphone .. so nothong to miss..

What I do miss within the note 3 is
1 -using the radio . .. I dont know y they removed it .
I had an s3 before I wish note 3 had it too.
2- I wish it was easier to set the wallpaper.

Download Image 2 Wallpaper. Resizes images easily and perfectly. Perfectly set ANY IMAGE to fit your display.

Samsung has encoded their own emoji in lol. Why is no one mentioning this? All you need is a keyboard that has them. Like TouchPal or go keyboard.

Samsung's stock does.

But if you send a text with one of the emotes it converts the message to MMS so not free to send :-(
