adb remount

adb shell

cd /system/app



those are where your apk's are...

rm - removes...

so..



rm filename.apk



get out of adb shell (exit)

from tools folder... adb push filename.apk /system/app

pushes new files to the phone in the system/app dir

Can't I just use my ES File Explorer to delete the .apk files? I am using Fresh 2.1.2.

I can see my system folder and the apk's using ES. I can try to delete one but I need to make sure I don't screw up the phone.

I think he means "nit picking"... being overly picky....looking for small things to complain about.

But..I think he is commenting that he doesn't like the fact that Flipz roms change what Sprint shows as the PRI version to "flipz"

this is the smoothest and most functional rom i've tried yet...seriously i can't find a bug. i'm almost wondering........hmmmmmmm. how did sprint mess up so bad?

And they're not smart enough to start recruiting all the DEVs and Cookers from sites like this and XDA. Can't wait for the new Fresh, nice of Flipz to keep working on the Hero.

I meant it was a trivial issue - small change (like the Spanish coin). So, does the new Fresh ROM still claim the PRL as "flipz"?

then just keep an eye on the forums here.. as soon as it's released I'm sure someone will post it.. or watch Geek For Me – Sprint Evo 4g & CDMA Hero (I setup firefox to monitor the RSS feeds from there using RSS ticker addon)

hey ya'll...i decided to try a overclocked kernal on this rom. and i have to say, its not only faster, but the battery life has increased by 20% at the end of the day. i've ran into quite a few force closes running it, but nothing that interferes with normal usage.

i will add, i changed my number yesterday and the sprint dude had me 'update profile.' well, i kept getting a force close and it wouldn't update. i tried going back to fresh 2.1.2, but it did the same thing. eventually i flashed my original sprint 1.5 stock rom and updated...it was only then that it worked. but yah, there are some force closes with the kernal i'm using but the benefits are over the top vs. the losses. unless of course you need to update your profile.

I tried the overclock kernel on DC 2.0.9 and my battery life was horrible. I have since gone back to Fresh 2.1.1 and lovin my Hero again

how do you paste text when using fresh. i can copy it just fine but whenever i long press a text box like i would with stock i can just choose the input method. any help please.

Select then hit menu? I don't know. I didn't even know that you could select text...
