Well all it's been a nice ride, but I too am getting a replacement phone. I really appreciate all that the developers did with such a crappy phone. They actually made it quite nice!!! I will be getting the S5 as soon as VM releases it. I will log on to the S5 forum as soon as I get the new phone..
I realize I will lose my 25.00 a month plan, but eventually, I think everyone with the 25.00 plan, will at some point, have to change just to keep up with technology.

I miss working on the ROMs. I still think about doing things, then I remember that it's been month, maybe almost a year sense I used the workstation that I was building on.

I haven't even seen BSidz on for a while. I think I'm going to hunt him down and see what he's been doing.

Thanks to dsmryder, huge kudos to bsydz, and all the independent devs for allowing us to rock this phone for so long. I'm still using it; I would never be able to without you guys. I'll switch when I can afford it (I'm recovering from surgery and therefore, out of work), but I doubt I'll see the dogged determination of this team again. Maybe I'll get an S5 and see you guys again. If not, May the road rise to meet you!

I, too, moved on from this phone only because my father couldn't wrap his head around his Moto Droid Razr, so he gave it to me and went back to his Samsung Intensity (his first love). I flashed it to Page Plus and sold my Triumph on eBay to some chick who tried to scam me (left me with a serious mar on my perfect 12 year feedback).

I check in here every so often (as I do with the Samsung Intercept) to see what the devs have been up to lately.

Thank you dsmryder and bsydz for your work on the Triumph. You made a kinda/sorta decent phone awesome. I would still be using that phone if my father hadn't given me the Droid Razr and was able to flash it over to Page Plus.

I remember when the Triumph was touted as the next best thing (like the Intercept) on Virgin Mobile, only to have it completely abandoned by VM and Motorola. At least the Intercept got updated to Froyo, eventually (yes, I was one of the people who flashed the Sprint update. But I also RMA'd it to VM when the update came out for a new phone because of the baseband change).

Thanks again, guys, for ramping up my old phone. If I had money, I'd shoot some over your way. One day, I will.

That is similar to my situation. I was disabled, waiting Social Security. The great devs here kept my phone up and running when I needed it most. Now that I won my case, I did switch to an HTC ONE M8, on Cricket. ( I need International texting). This week I donated my Triumph to a food bank that gives phones to needy families. It will live on because of the tireless work done in this forum.

I salute you all.
