Help Finally tried "Handcent SMS" and I LOVE it!

Handcent made things a breeze to use.
I just wish that "new message" was also in the menu, instead of having to press that little button at the top.

there is a widget for this app that will show new text count looks like the desktop icon but its a widget with a counter.
 
Has anyone tryed the talk to text feature in handsent ? Does it work? I tryed but have been unsuccessful. Any sugestion's would be welcome.

Easy fireball. As I mentioned in my post, I DO NOT have an Android phone yet until there is a killer group text messenger application available. I appreciate your help, but just giving me an obscure name of a program wasn't clear what that actually was.
 
Is there a way to make it not show how many messages you sent? I tried to turn off display message count but did not see anything? Thanks!
