Root Finally..................

After 2 long days I have finally achieved root, instal....er flashed a rom and could not be happier. Of course without you guys/gals it would not have been possible. Just wanted to send out a big thanks to: dustwun77 - who gave me the extra push to try this whole root thing, ocnbrze - who is always there to help, argedion - for his pre, post and everything in between flash instructions (hey, how about putting in to load titanium backup root first and then pro) (guess who learned that one the hard way....lol), and shotgun84 - who kindly pointed out the above backup root/pro problem to me, which allowed me to hit the finish line in my rooting saga.

Once again, thanks to everyone who helped me get thru this process virtually unscathed.

P.S. - I'm pretty sure I'll be back with another set of questions so stay sharp guys.........lol

I was just like you when I left my Iphone for the EVO 4G when it first came out. didn't know a thing about Android and fell in love. Rooting was the best thing I ever did although I was scared of it. Now i've gone on to the Nexus S4g, then went to the Evo 3D, now I'm on the Galaxy S2. I'm yet to root the SGS2, but I miss the rooting scene on HTC :( :( :( :( :(

How do you constantly have the best phone out there?

I thought the SG2 would be the ultimate rooting machine... What is holding you up?
