That being said.. all of the 1950 batteries we received are supplying us with 22 hrs or so battery compared to 16ish on the stock battery

Been using the Otterbox Commuter Series Case for about a week and really like it. Good protection and doesn't make the phone bulky.

Also threw on a full body invisible shield from zagg. I really think they did some crappy designing but it mostly fits. I wish the screen protector covered the whole front and not just the screen and almost all the way to the outer edges.

very similar to zagg, full screen (so close cut that they are tad difficult to install)

removable, washable, re install able

not my cup of tea but they were cheap. Using them on the wife's skyrocket.

my preference is P.E.T protectors (multiple brands out there)
they slick, like glass, not typically re usable

What companies make these P.E.T. protectors?

I enjoy the invisible shield but if there's something slicker I'd give it a try.

An alternative to Zagg Invisibileshield screen protection is Skinomi Techskin here:

Skinomi TechSkin - Samsung Galaxy S2 SkyRocket Skin Protector

It's not that much cheaper, so it really comes down to preference on the slightly thicker "orange peel" texture of the Zagg, or the thinner smoother texture of the Skinomi. Lot's of comparisons already on the internet.

(Yes, our Skyrocket has gorilla glass, but it can still get scratched...) I'm playing it safe. :D

The OtterBox Commuter case comes with a screen protector. I would assume the same for the bulkier, more expensive Defender. Not sure about their cheap gel case. I have both for the SR but haven't installed either yet. After playing with my 64G iTouch which has had a Shield for a year and comparing it with my girlfriend's protectorless iPhone 4S and 3GS, I'm not sure they don't have a negative impact on the touch sensitivity of the screen.

Here's a tip about the Invisible Shield. I like them a lot and have used them on several devices. After you have installed one, allow at least two full days for it to dry and cure before trying to slip some gel case on the device. You WILL screw up the edge of the shield. On the plus side, Invisible Shield (and OtterBox) will replace anything that goes defective for the life of your product. If you screw it up while installing, they'll give you a new one... but why wait a week or two. Do it right the first time and only wait a couple of days.

Ez guardz is one.

Look on ebay...check the description for PET

There is an auction now for 5 or 6 for .99

Thanks BUT... anything that cheap, I don't trust and anything I need 6 of is a sign that I'll NEED 6 of them. There's a reason you pay a buttload for a single Invisible Shield. You'll only need one.

Great product for the financially challenged however. Probably better to have something than nothing.

Haha you and I are just destined to disagree.

I have used PET screen protectors for 4 or 5 years now. I have also tested my share of $30 protectors ...neither "last" any longer than the other and the zagg/3m type sheilds are sticky to touch

As for pricing I am a in sales and a firm believer in "you get what you pay for"

As a consumer though I absolutely refuse to pay more than I have to.

All of the eBay links I have posted are direct from Asia purchases. The same screen protectors are sold in 2 packs at carrier stores for @$19.99

Sorry, there's one or two accessory threads but I thought I should create a new one. Here's my Skyrocket in an SGP Case sitting on a Sinjimoru Dock. The case comes in a very nice hard molded case packaging. The case itself is two pieces, the thin black rubber skin type sleeve and the yellow outer band/retainer. A clear display protector film is also included. It comes in different colors as well. I bought it on Amzaon but you can see other options in the following link.

SGP Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket ATT Case Neo Hybrid Series - Galaxy S2 Skyrocket [AT&T] - Samsung - Cell Phones

From my understanding, I heard that the case is compatible yet it covers the cutouts for the speakers. Is this true? Does it bother you or is it just a minimal issue??

Those of you with upgraded batteries, have you tried using the phone in single digits %? The ebay batteries I've bought in the past usually shut the phone down when I get into single digit %s and try to use the phone. That said, I'm using an otterbox defender, had one on the past few phones, and a jawbone icon (must have imo). Does my grom unit in my car count as an accessory? I've got a 32gb micro sd on the way, making due with my old 8gb class10 at the moment.

On all five of our batteries (2 stock and 3 eBay) once they get below 10% I best find a charger or battery

Not at all trying to poke at you but there IS a reason all devices flash up a warning at 15% telling at you to find power :p

Now....having a spare in my pocket, I continue to use mine till shutdown with no issues.

On my infuse I did have one eBay battery that was awful

Once of hit 10% it dropped two % per minute :(

That's the thing, stock batteries in my experience will happily go down to 1-3% before shutting down the phone. While the ebay ones, once you get under 15%, the odds of it just shutting down on you grow exponentially each 1% it ticks down.

After growing tired of the sucky battery life, I broke down and ordered this. I received my order yesterday, charged it over night, and I'm off and running (hopefully for longer than 8hrs without needing to recharge!). Fit is nice, but a little bulky and now my Otterbox case won't fit. I found this through a post on xma boards, I think... it comes from Seidio Online.

I'll update in a couple of days on how well this battery holds up. I can't post links yet, so maybe someone else can help out (or I'll post it once the restriction is lifted).

The new extended batter lasted an entire 24 hours before it dropped below 20%. I charged it at that point due to some long, drawn-out meetings I would be attending later in the day and would need my phone to occupy my boredom.

Which Otterbox did you have and what are your plans for it?
