Thought this might need it's own topic rather than being lost on other threads. Installed new beta and got it syncd with my computer. But it seems to reboot my computer a lot. Has anyone tried the ff sync to dolphin app? Wondering how that would work.

I do not believe you can import the settings. By the way, why would you want to switch to the official version? The official version made my phone restart itself, and is slower than sludge. It has more features, such as find in page. But beware, it is a piece of junk. And it has the ugly old interface. Not to be rude, but avoid the stable version at all costs, for now...I am using Firefox Beta and was curious if anyone knew if I could switch to the official version and import my settings and such from the Beta version?
Is that possible or are the official and beta completely stand-alone apps?

Unfortunately, there is no force compatibility option like there is in the desktop version. Not only that, but about:config is slow as hell in both the Beta and the Nightlies. It even made my phone reboot itself! Twice! Talk about crazy! Anyhow, I've reported the bug, and you can track it here. I highly recommend that you stay far away from about:config until they make more and more performance improvements, unless you want lag and reboots!Do you know of a way to edit the about:config to allow installation of addons not compatible?
really, the only addon I am really missing is the ext-youtube which opens up YouTube URLs with the YouTube app instead of within browser. I can live without it. Just curious. Firefox Beta is now my one and only browser and I am so glad you convinced me to try it. Best its ever been!![]()

Yes, it certainly has potential. Thanks for the good advice. I appreciate it. I'm loving the browser. I can't wait to see where this is going![]()
But for now, it still has issues. Hopefully those issues are ironed out in the near future.
