hard to tell dude. its because of the launchers ive installed. battery lang nakita ko kc yun lang ang improvement na inaantay ko. actually, the only difference is the graph of the battery usage. i will still observe the actual standby time. have you tried upgrading?
 
my nkita akong mga pgbabago , nag upsize ung ibang mga apps sa memory usage like maps, market, voice search,youtube, gmail, talk and so on. priority ko kc internal memory ,more on games ako ee hehe.

hala. ganun ba? ako, im waiting for the battery to improve. my old bada phone with same battery as my GY gave me 2days with my excessive calling and texting habits while GY only gave me less than 12 hours..
 
Need ko ba i re-apply ang Supercharge script after doing this firmware update? Napansin ko kasi na mas nag improve ang battery standby time (regular sms, calls, & games) ko after using the script.

gumana, at mas naging snappier ang phone ko after applying this update. yung call and cancel buttons naging bilog at may bagong search bar icon.other than that wala na akong nakitang ibang pagbabago.
 
hey mga tolits.. naka root ang phone ko and i want to update it with the latest firmware.. pwede ko ba siya ulit i root after the update? :) tnx


EDIT: ay bakit ganon. pag saksak ko ng cp ko sa kies walang nag notify sakin ng firmware update ? pahelp nmn po
 
ey guys just want to share my experience in updating the firmware on my Y, by the way my phone is rooted, my phone always disconnects everytime it finish downloading the update on the kies, ive tried it 5 times, every time i connect my phone and open the kies it shows that there is an update, so when the updates is downloading my phone disconnects and it always do that every time it finish downloading, any one also experience that??

are u using a custom launcher? like GO launcher EX? if ur using, uninstall it, it worked for me, or remove ur SD card when updating, or use FOTA
 
@franzelle02 - what do you mean by custom launcher?? never tried that before:) i'll try removing SD card and see what happens. and whats FOTA?? (para kang nagmumura hehehe)

FOTA naman. di mo alam yung FOTA, xD menu>settings>about phone>software update. yan. FOTA. Firmware Over-the-Air. jan ako ng update eh :)
 
Di umubra sakin FOTA kaya napilitan akong mag Kies. Yung mga nag-update na, how's your battery life? Parang shorter sa akin ngayon compared sa previous FW. I dunno, trying to investigate, bka isa sa mga tweaks ko nag cause. Dati pag mostly standby lang and minimal texts, in one day halos di nababawasan batt icon. Ngayon mga 1/4 nababawas.
