grabe tagal nun 2 hrs? ako nun dati bada ung phone ko mga isang oras. pero this latest firmware update sa android is only 30mins+-

sa bahay kalang ba or sa cafe? depende kac sa internet mo tsaka sa bigat ng update.

sa bahay lang ako.. 5mbps pa net ko.. tsk tgal nga dba mg ddownloading sa phne mo un tgal mtpuz nun.. pde ko na unplgd phne ko sa pc pg ng ddownload na sa phne??
 
monitor ko na lng bro kung anu un pg bbagu sa upgrading sana un battery life ayus din ..
1day lng tntgal ng bat ko games ng unti tpus txting lng wifi na din ng unti ..
 
@sym0n01: glad you made it. im sorry i cant help you regarding rooting your phone, dko pa nag root. wala pa kc akong mabigat na dahilan para maroot kong phone ko. :) just read through the posts baka nandito kailangan mo. sabi nila i root mo daw ulit. dko pa natry

ok bro kze nun ni upgrde ko nwala un pg ka root hehe bka need i root pa ulit.. tnx
 
so guys, ilang weeks na nung nilabas yung update, so far ano naman pagkakaiba? does the batt life really improved? ano pa mga improvements nang SGY nung nag update kayo?
 
Di ko sure baka paranoid lang ako pero mukang mas shorter batt ngayun with the latest FW compared to the previous one.
 
Hope this serves as a reference to everyone:

Update via FOTA if it works, your device stays as it is like when it's already rooted, it stays rooted

Update via KIES most of the time flashes your phone to a factory default state specially for network locked phones.

ALERT!!! The LA1 update from Sun locked phones if updated through KIES doesn't allow rooting using the way I rooted the older 2.3.5 firmware version plus it has bugs - one of it is if you have installed some applications that requires rooted phones, they disappear after you reboot the phone and root access doesn't always work if you have successfully rooted the phone.

Mine is Sun locked and updated via Kies. Never encountered such problems so far.
