Many things got me to switch to Android when the original Droid came out. I had an iPhone 3GS and I waited in line the day the original iPhone came out. I haven't regretted it all, and looking at what can be done with a stock Android phone vs a stock iPhone 4s, or a stock Android vs jailbroken iPhone 4s there is no comparison... Android wins every time. Not even considering a rooted android!
And BTW, just in case you think I am just an apple hater, I am posting this from my iPad 2, which I love! When it comes to phones though, apple has been playing catch up for about 2 years and still isn't there with ios 5 (which I am running on my iPad)
