First Evo 3D for sale on Craigslist

For the people who truly have to have bragging rights to be first, that they would spend a $1300 premium on a product that is not production-ready (bugs) and will be out within a few weeks. Wonder if anyone will bite.
 
yeah I even question the authenticity because both photos are from sources we've all seen: CTIA for the kickstand case, and stock HTC image for the phone.

If I had an Evo 3D on hand, I would be providing actual photos.
 
I'd probably call shenanigans. Unless someone actually gets their hands on it. The things I hate about when stuff like this happens is that the people don't even try and make it look legit. Like explain how they acquired it early, and possibly some source photos, or even any type of indication that they're completely full of it.

I agree...Craig's List is the last place I would consider buying anything for that very reason. If it were on eBay or Amazon you'd at least have the assurance of knowing that you can get your money back if the guy is trying to scam you.

"I'm not posting pictures for certain reasons" is a big indicator that he probably doesn't really have one. If he took a picture of the box as DClocal it'd probably be more convincing. I also highly doubt Sprint/HTC is sending these out early, especially with absolutely no information as to what is really going on with it (bugs, crashes, and so forth).
 
We know of there being E3D's out in the wild, and maybe this guy knows a guy that knows a truck driver or something.

But I also agree. Real pic of it on the carpet or something or shenanigans.
 
If it was a fake, which it might be but I don't really care, why would he also state that you can come see it personally before you buy it.

There were several reports of this very thing happening back when the PS3 was launched and the prices in grey market for new consoles were ridiculously high. People just ended up getting mugged.

where are you finding them?
 
Someone here should contact him and ask for pictures personally to see if he's telling the truth, because you don't feel comfortable meeting up with him without knowing for sure.
 
I send him/her a text saying I will pay up to 1200 for the phone if he can text me a picture of the retail box to confirm he has it . Lets see if its true .. I doubt it tho but if its true ill put the picture for you guys to see .

Well shoot! I'm just outside Indy! Now let me just pull $1500 out of my nether regions to pay for something that I expect isn't in his possession.
