Love the phone, the Interface is easy, and am loving the speed! screen is very nice, and am just now getting used to swype, and love it.. This might be an ongoing thread of questions I might have, But for now..

1) Can you install adobe flash on this phone, or is it better to just use a different browser, And If you do Download/use a different Browser, will it conflict with anything? ( considering the phone is basically 100% google/Chrome based )

2) Im still not completely familiar with the backup and data on this .. IS cloud the same as airdroid?

3) For Data Usage - Today for example it says I have used 30.89 MB from March 14-17th... Not I believe on pre paid the throttle down my speed after 100 MB , BUT most of my stuff will be on WiFi.. SO , When I actually hit 100MB will they throttle my speed down, Even tho 90% of that 100 MB will be on wifi ?

4) When the phone sleeps does it save Battery life? I notice the sleep option goes from 15 seconds to 30 minutes

5) Are there any "useful" apps, not games or anything, that actually are helpful/useful to either you or the phone?

Welcome to android I guess.

1. You can download an old version of it that was made for ice cream sandwich from adobe's site. Just Google "How to get adobe flash on android jellybean."

2. Get some one else I'm still having issues with Google music but basically "cloud" is just a marketing term that means you back up data to the internet.

3. T-Mobile doesn't care about wi fi. When you use 100 megabytes from their cell phone towers they will cut you to 2G speed.

4. Sleeping saves a ton of energy. Also disable any unneeded features (Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi)

5. There are hundreds of thousands of apps I'm sure you will find some of them more useful than others. My essentials are "Battery Widget Reborn!", "utorrent", "poweramp", "twitter", and a lot more.

Just play around with it though and see what you like.

I think one of the most useful apps out there is Light Flow. (There's a free Light Flow Lite.) It allows you to do useful things with your notification light - the light is pretty useless stock, you might not even realize it's there.

Other personal favorites of mine are IP cam viewer, Glympse, Tapatalk, and Color Note.

Light Flow almost had too many features in my opinion. To be honest it kind of gave me a head ache even though it's cool.

1. Adobe is no longer supporting flash for any mobile devices, not just Android, and so it is no longer is available in the Play store. However, the Flash11 .apk package is still downloadable from the Adobe website for manual installation.

Flash 11.1:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/...roid/11.1.115.34/install_flash_player_ics.apk

To use flash you also need to install a flash-capable browser such as Firefox.

2. 'Cloud' is a general term referring to remote storage which can be located anywhere in the world and is accessible via the internet. Such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. Airdroid is an app - look it up in the Play store for info.

3. Y5

4. Yes

5. In no particular order... Firefox, File Explorer, Dropbox, Google Drive, FolderSync, Y5, System Panel, Nova Launcher, Reddit is Fun, Documents to Go, Google Voice, VoiceChoice, Advanced Call Blocker, AK Notepad.

Linux user #266351. Android since v1.0

I'd say you're almost certainly going to want a file manager of some sort. I use a free one called .. File Manager. I think it comes up top of the list when you search on Play.

If you're an Outlook user who would like to keep phone and Outlook in Sync, I us AndroidSync Manager which sync's via WiFi. It's not the best sync app I've ever used, but it works and it's free.

How can too many features be a bad thing? You can go as deep or as light as you want.

One of the best apps around. Well worth the modest outlay.

5 - depends what you want to do. Simply search in Google Play eg "file explorer" "battery widget"

For instance I use:

Paypal
My O2 (for billing and data usage)
Password Safe
Photo resizer (for uploading pictures to forums)
eBay
Various sports news and scores apps (BBC, Sky Sports)
Flipboard - for all news, tech, sports, etc...
Flixster - for "ultraviolet" Blu Rays
Talking Poker Timer - for home poker nights (Hold 'em)
MX Player Pro - for playing my owned ripped DVDs
Netflix App
TuneIn Radio Pro
...
+ games of course

100mbs isn't very much. Have you thought about straight talk or simple? If your a heavy data user then those 2 carriers would be perfect for you. I average 3-5 gb a month of use and I have never once had any issues with ST. You can get the 45 dollar refill cards online at certain places for 40 bucks. You just can't beat unlimited service and data speeds up to 25-30mbps.

Hope he likes T-Mobile :P can't find an AT&T straight talk Sim card anywhere that isn't selling for $100 XD

Obviously he had unlimited data if he is with T-Mobile, it just gets throttled after 100 Mb

You have to dig around, but I found one at a Walmart. It was a full sized SIM so I had to cut it down to Micro SIM size, but it works flawlessly in my N4. :D

A'm I reading this right...30Mbps? And this is from straight talk? Location?

Well Tmobile just isnt cutting it where Im at.. Dropped calls, calls cut out, service ( voice/data ) is spotty at best, one block Im full bars and hspa, and one mile down the road Im at zero bars and on edge network...

If I can find straight talk Ill do that, but Net 10 also goes off ATT towers, and on the "auto-refill" section, it is also $45/month, So Ill give that a try next month

So far the phone is great, its just my lack of patience with android.. Im so used of the idiot proof Iphone, so now when this phone makes me think, I get a damn migraine :)

So.. In Itunes, I plug it in, and all my contacts, apps, texts, etc all save , So how do I do that on android? Wether I lose my phone, get another, or just for a random backup? I plugged it into my laptop and all that popped up was a menu asking where to save my photos.. I clicked on windows, because thats what Ive done in the past, so I just just go to 'pictures' in my library section on my laptop.. WEll that didnt work.. It found the pics but now I cant find them
