Root First Post - Stock Restore Q's

So I just rooted my Droid x (4.5.605), used some root-only apps (i.e. metamorph), and am looking to start from scratch again as I feel like I probably did somethings wrong along the way.

So I want to get the stock SBF (I understand it's .602), and use this to OTA to .605 again THEN root my phone and start the process over now that I have a better idea of what to do.

1. If I use the .602 SBF will it be as if my phone was never rooted if I unroot immediately following the installation? You know, in case I want to sell the phone later.

2. The program I used to originally root my .605 was Pete's I believe it's called. Can this be used again for either .602 and .605?

1.) if you want to sell the phone later, always sbf the phone, then take the ota, and thats all you need to do

you just need a USB cable and the program RSD Lite...or one of the Linux bootable disc options
