Yes you can remap bixby since it and the power button are the same.

I never use Bixby on my S8+ Totally doing away with it is fine by me. 
It looks like the face recognition works like ten time better than my S8 too.

I wear glasses when i use these devices and with the 9 i had to adjust my head to get the best angle.. i looked like a chicken as it would walk around.. so far the ten has been much faster and immediate. The screen fingerprint reader is nice. Its taking some getting used to but ive gotten the hang of it.

The fingerprint reader on my S8+ stinks up the place and face recognition is very iffy at best. I'm hoping for improvements in both readers.
Despite having added a glass screen protector, and not re-registering my fingerprints I'm more than happy with the fingerprint scanner.

I was just playing around and stumbled on to pinching my forefinger and thumb in different places within the gallery app. I was pleasantly surprised. Repeated pinches brought desired results. I'm sure a lot of past note users already know this but being a samsung newbie this brought a grin to my face.
