Root [FIX]Mobile Partition - Fix For Phone Wont Boot

The link from Austrie

http://www. noxtek .com/android/triumph/good_triumph_mobile_image.zip

Well this link wont work anymore, or at least not for me. I have a new version of the triumph and I need the image folder but cant seem to find it anywhere. My phone wont boot just vibrates constantly. The problem is the image folder i just need a new one that works. If you could supply me with one that would be awesome. I saved the original recovery but the phone still wont boot. I have done alot of screwing around with this phone currently only a new boot, and splash img are in the folder along with the original, and i also tried with a new, recovery img. Are there other files that i need in the image folder to get it to work. pwr + vol up + vol dwn = vibrate forever. pwr = vibrate forever. pwr + vol dwn = nothing. I can still access the mobile and image folder via usb connected to my laptop...thats all i have for ya let me know

Your link has a space in it and I'm at work so I can't check it that's the problem. As far as the download mode, have you pulled the battery for like 5 minutes? I have had that before. Try pulling the battery for a while and retry getting into download mode. I wouldn't be surprized if you have a "hidden" space in your boot.img.

Yea I pulled the battery for 4 hours and it still just vibrates as for the link I put the spaces there so I could post it. The forum was being picky

TO AUSTRIE or anyone else that can help
I was trying to put clockwork on my triumph. followed the instructions floating around on net now when I press power volume up and volume down all it does is vibrate with black screen. When i just press power all it does is vibrate black screen. I tried reinstalling recovery image, taking off the .img part etc. cannot boot into cwm. When i plug phone into computer I still see mobile drive so an i still in download mode even though no oem polling on screen?
to make things worse maybe i tired to reformat the mobile drive and now it is completely empty! the link privded to repartition doesnt work.
Help!! how do i get my phone back to the way it was before trying rhis ( it was rooted) if i can even get the bleeping thing to power on?
I also charge my battery, took battery out and put bak in etc.

If you reply please use easy tounderstand language for idiots/newbies. I am not a developer or anything like that- just a girl who wants her phone functioning.
HEELLP!!! :confused::(

Here is a repost of the files which has CWM already in the image folder. Also there is a README in the same folder that points back here

thanks from me too! So installed that file using these directions i found in another thread:
1. In Windows 7, go to Star Menu, type in "Create and format hard disk partition" and press enter. You will see "Disk Management" program open up. Maximize it.

1.5. Take the battery out of your phone and check if you have 6 bar codes or 7 bar codes.

- If you have 6 bar codes, download this.

- If you have 7 bar codes, download this.

2. Turn your phone on by press and holding POWER + Vol Down for several second. You won't see anything on the screen but that's ok.

3. Connect the phone to Windows 7 PC with USB cable and check to see if the phone is connected. (Usually Windows 7 make a sound when something is connected)

4. Now, check the Disk Management program that was opened in step 1. You will see "Disk x, Removable 1.82 GB Online" (x is the number of the disk and it is different for everyone. In my case, it's Disk 2. Here's the screenshot.) Ignore the name MOBILE since mine isn't corrupted. You might or might not see it as Mobile.

From here on, it will be hard for me to write since I can't see what's going on in your end. I'm gonna assume everything is going as it should.

5. There will be 16 partitions in Disk x. What you want to work with is the very first partition. It is 100 MB. It is the ONLY partition with 100 MB. Select the partition. Do not touch other partitions.

6. Now, right click on the partition and choose format. Format box will open. Type in MOBILE in Volume label. Choose "FAT" as File System. Allocation unit size "Default". Check the "Perform a quick format". Click OK. Warning will pop up saying if you wanna continue. Click OK. It'll format without showing anything.

7. After format, check the LIST above. See if MOBILE partition is there and see if it is "FAT" File System and also see if it is 100% Free Space. If all is as described, you are done successfully.

8. Now, right click on MOBILE drive and choose "Open". A blank window will pop up. Extract the zip you downloaded in step 1.5. Copy its image folder directly to the blank window.

That's it. You are done. Reboot the phone by taking out the battery. Hope this help.

Again. Please be very careful as you are dealing with system partitions that includes crucial data of the phone such as ESN and MEID. You can parmenetly make the phone useless. Do not for any reason touch any other partition in Disk x.

Now when i unplugged the phone and tried to power on I get nothing. No lights etc. Do you think it is the battery. I charged it with a wall charger in the phone all night??
I checked and the new folder and all the files you posted were in there.
Now what do you think the problem could be?

Update: Hey I plugged phone into charger for a bit then tried to power on while it was still charging and IT WORKED! It was the battery! YeaH!! WOO HOO!! Thanx so much! YOU GUYS ROCK!!! High five!! And I learned something new as well!
I don't think I am going to mess with it any more- i'll just leave it as is without cyyogen mod.In the mean time I am saving up for that samsung galaxy II !!

Glad it's working for you. My suggestion would be to install CWM as it's super easy and try out one of the ROMs, CM7, CM9, MUIU or something else. The phone on stock Froyo is crap and since you are going to have the phone for a while, it would be a nice way to take advantage of what you have and get used to using a decent OS. Plus with ROM's on the Galaxy II it will give experience and confidence in rooting a new phone.

lol NVM got it fixed easily by flashing the MTDEV-Stock.zip

had my phone stuck on the OEM screen, as long as you have CWM you shouldn't have any issues
if it makes any difference my MT is a new revision(6 bar codes)
