Root Fixed bobZ gps!!!!

I did this, but unfortunately I HATE the UI of Paranoid. Actually, I mostly just hate the fact that it doesn't have the buttons to toggle data/gps/wifi/brightness/etc. in the pull-down drawer. Is there any way to restore this? If there is, I would be totally happy.

I flashed 4.3 camera and front facing video was still broken

i know but the app is better because you can make your own toggles from any app and you can change the toggle icons.

How does the version of BobZ you are on make a difference? If you replace the camera app, you replace the camera app, I don't see how that would make a difference

Anyone have a link or flashable zip for the 4.3 camera? Everyone's talking about it but I cant find it in any of the ROM threads. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I also think the GPS fix has something that's causing the phone to overheat because it never happened to me before, until I flashed it.

You have turn off gps when not using it especially if you're running one if the oc kernels.. As far as the camera I don't remember where a zip is but if you search on page three or four of the forum i think a link to it is there....

Yeah figured that right after I posted, as far as the camera goes I'll have too keep looking. Thanks for fix btw :)

Those phones are affected when they're on stock. I went back to stock yesterday to flash another ROM today and it didn't overheat or get warm at all compared to CM10.
 
I still cannot get my gps to work for the life of me. I have tried the self installing zip and the manual method. Although I don't know where to find the original conf files you are all talking about. To "start from scratch" what exactly should I do? just reflash bobz cm10 and then apply the gps fix along with the others? Or does it mean something else?? Factory reset first, clear dalvik etc...?? thanks for your help and all the work that has been done on this.

EDIT:

Well I am still a noob, but i downloaded the C firmware and I am flashing it right now.. the first time it got to DSP 80 something and then my phone reset causing a boot loop. EDIT AGAIN: well apparantly the phone continually resets on boot animation while its installing the firmware? because its looping the boot animation while installing the firmware... I thought it was going to stay on the EMERGENCY Mode screen the whole time.. but I guess not. Hopefully this time it goes all the way through...

What is "C modem" and where do I find it since it is one of the steps after I flash gapps?
 
ok, so I was on firmware F, and this is what I did, and it still doesnt work.. Wonder Why?

Flashed Firmware C
Rooted
Flashed CM10, gapps, c modem, gps fix (and other fixes too volume,mms,camera)

before I wasnt getting the magnetic sensors, and now I am, but still no lock on.

Wonder why it would work with most people and not for some motions.. (user error?)
 
OK, so from my current situation I did this and now my GPS is working great.

From C Firmware I reflashed F firmware.. rooted, then installed CM10, but DID not apply the GPS fix, and everything is working now.. dunno why but I think the GPS fix was screwing it up for me? I also didnt flash C-modem..
