Help Flash Player???? :confused:

i was wondering if it can run flash i had the app installed but it wouldn't let me go onto certain internet pages i uninstalled and it was fixed i was wondering can it go on even if the phone cant support it?:confused:
 
you got further than I did, I cant even get flash to install. As of right now, I have not heard of anybody being able to use adobe flash on the prevail. I use skyfire browser, thats the closest thing I can find right now.

The only time you can install it is if it has been modified to NOT look for the cpu type.
Normal flash will see the cpu and abort the install, the modified one will not look so it will install but at this time, and maybe for all time I dont know, this version of flash will not work on the phone at all.
I tried 3 different versions, the first 2 would crash the browser soon as you opened it. the last one just didnt work.
 
It is my understanding that Flash is NOT compatible with Samsung Galaxy Prevail. You have to use browsers that have an integrated flash in it to be able to view sites that have flash. In fact trying to install Flash on Samsung Galaxy Prevail may cause instabilities with your phone. I highly do not recommend it.

ya when i had it it crashed certain internet pages

So it is, but I can't install it. Has anyone had any luck getting it to install?

Getting Requested item could not be found from the market, plus a parse error from the APK when i try to install the APK from my cache.

I've found a hacked version of AFP 10.1 that will install and work on the Prevail.

I've found it works on funnyordie.com and a few other embedded flash movie sites (ones that even skyfire can't play).

Though it does tend to slow down the phone, and its a rather large file 11.1 MB I believe after the install..

Not all video is perfect though, a few sites i've seen where its half grey and the other half has a green tint to it, but its better than nothing.

Side note, once downloaded/installed, reboot your phone before you attempt to browse the web.

Thanks for posting that I was wondering how to get flash on the prevail sucks that hulu still doesnt work though, 11mb is alot for the prevail only having 160mb of memory I have all of my apps on my sd card i went a got a microcenter 16gb class 10 and im getting 12mb/s write and 22-30mbs read using sd tools
