Root Flashed CM10 ALPHA and now no data

Hey guys, i know im not the only one who got this problem, and i've been searching and looking around and havent found any solutions or even any more mentions about this problem; i still have no data, that is to say, every time data hits the phone it reboots imidiately, i have tried flashing old backups like somebody recommended, every backup that i can find, and i have ran them for a few days and still the problem persist, i even had to run that garbage from metro for a couple of days, i have tried every hidden menu, every option (that i felt comfortable messing with at least) and still nothing, to make matters worst my phone wont recognize usb for anything other than charging, so i cant do a downgrade then upgrade operation, please guys give me a hand, this is driving me insane

I take it you took the only 100% real method of returning to stock method by downgrading via Gbiggie's guide?

Saw no mention of this but this would be the 1st thing I would do. If this don't fix it then...........Time for a new phone. :/
 
I tried, but as I mentioned in the post above, my phone won't recognize USB for anything other than charging... another issue that drives me nuts, I guess its time for a new phone then :/

Change USB ports on the pc. Change cables, make sure you're using the stock cable that came with the phone.

Edit: all micro usb cables charge the phone, but no all allow the phone to be read by the pc or lg tools software.
 
How about clear all drivers from the pc or laptop . Power down or restart pc or laptop and use the proper cable from the device. And see if it reads or u may have to keep scanning for new devices on the pc or lap top . In order to put the drivers on
 
Nahh i been posting and telling but they think its just going to work . The words custom rom just don't ring bells in the eye sight of some if its custom a lot can be changed and somethings maynot exsist :eek::D:banghead::what:
 
Hey guys, thanks for the suggestions, but I noticed the problem around 6 to 8 months ago and i have indeed tried all of the above and nothing has worked, i normally use the LG wire for everything anyways, and i have refreshed the drivers a thousand times, even upgraded to windows 8 pro (only paid $15, best deal ever) cus my HD crashed and i had to get a new one, i have flashed several different ROMs and Kernels and it just wont work, when i connect the phone the computer says it cant install the drivers and that the device is defective, and the phone wont even acknowledged the fact that its being connected to a computer, so go figure...
Going back to the subject at hand tho, so is my radio fried? and if it is how come i do have CDMA for calls and txt but no GSM or LTE? doest it have to do with the RIL for CM10? could it fry only those 2 radios and leave CDMA intact? is there something i can do? will i ever get my phone running right? tune in next week to find out...
 
Well how could u have a gsm working without the use of a sim card . I think and correct me if not sims cards is for the gsm which would be like tmobile and att . Now u say the lte wont work sounds like your icc card has been fried . Or shall i say stick a forlk in it and see if its done .:eek::D:mad:
 
I meant EVdO or w/e lol whichever radio metro uses for 3G, which would most definitely affect calling and txting, however, i just read a post on the CM10 thread about an app called "switchit" and some instructions on how to use it, and lo and behold, data works again!!!
However... if anybody has any ideas about the USB issue, i greatly appreciate the input lol
