Every now and then I get a message in the status bar saying "google talk authentication failed" I have never used google talk so I don't know what the deal is with this. It also says "if this is a google apps account, make sure chat is enabled" I also don't know what a google apps account is so I doubt I have one. When I try to download any apps from the market, free or paid I get the error message "df-bpa-13" and the download won't start. My gmail acct is synced and worked fine at first. Now it is saying "no connection" even though I am on wifi that is working. I can surf the web just fine on wifi and 3g but I cannot look at facebook. It also says there is no connection.

Gmail and facebook worked fine up until about 10 minutes ago, I didn't change a thing. the google voice crap and the df-bpa-13 error have been there since flash though.

Try this:

Go to settings, apps, all & Clear cache and data for Google services framework & Google play store.

Cleared cache and data from google services and framework. There is no Google play store on the list. The rom came with the old market app, so thats probably why.

The data and cache clearing worked for gmail. I can see my mail now. And I can download stuff. Also cleared and re-entered data for facebook and it works too. Thanks! Hopefully this isn't an ongoing issue with this rom. It's nice looking and fast. I'd like to try it out for a while.

The market will eventually update to Google Play. The system will recongize you have an old version of the market and then update for you. You can try clearing cache and data in the market.
