Root Flashed ROM, persistant issues with network

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated- I'm pretty frustrated at this point.
Flashed to a Sense 5 rom, then the network issues began. No signal, just an

Sorry for your troubles.
What state is your phone in now? Does it boot and work otherwise still?

Do you have a nandroid that you can restore or have you tried flashing another rom?

Edit: And welcome to the Forums! Hopefully someone here will be able to help you get this straightened out.

Thanks for the reply.

Phone is on, everything works, except mobile
Now on RageLTE v1.0.2 rom (similar to stock but stripped down a bit)

No on nandroid

I am not familiar with that rom. Is it a Sense rom?

Perhaps it would help to call Sprint and ask them to, I think the term is, reprovision the phone, or at least tell them that you are having trouble with the network and they will probably do that.

Should be on a Sense rom when you do it.

Carrier is Ting (runs off Sprint)

Been emailing them back and forth, and they've run out of ideas, after doing all the carrier wipes, resets, etc.

Went ahead and did that again.
Didn't go to any "handsfree activation" other than setting up wifi, google accounts, etc.
Luckily when it booted, it did say Sprint at the top of the Clock, which it did seem to be identifying on the network, so there wasn't an 'X' above the signal bars. But all the bars were greyed out with zero signal, and as I am typing this, the X came back over the signal bars, saying "out of service"

Did PRL and Profile update. Same deal, no go.

Ok- thanks for your help!

In the meantime, I decided to try something else, I flashed CM 10.2 Nightly and started playing with the Mobile Network settings, and I'm getting something... everytime I try to use the dialer, I do get an audio msg stating that I need to Activate the phone- which is promising--- I must be reaching the tower.

MEID is still messed up, and apparently some of the wipe stuff I need a Sense rom-- I don't know how to do any activation with this CM.

The settings right now:
Preferred network mode:
LTE/CDMA/EvDo

System Select:
Automatic

CDMA subscription:
NV

EDIT: Changed back to RUIM/SIM

ok well a ruu for your firmware is not available yet as far as i know.....you have the latest firmware out there.....which makes things kind of hard with no ruu to start over with.

you can get s-off by using rumrunner to get s-off:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-lte-all-things-root/605567-ltevo-rooting-dummies-complete-guide.html which you are part way there with your phone being unlocked and on current firmware.......try flashing a stock rooted rom though.

once you get s-off then we can try and flash the latest firmware again and see if that fixes things.....radio wise for you.

Great. Right now flashing back to the Sense 5 rom, currently fastboot flashing after the TWRP installation. Once that is up and running, if no network, I'll go ahead and S-off.

(Hopefully that will help. I wasn't quite sure what was particularly useful for S-off, so I never did it.)

EDIT: GREAT..... Now I'm in a boot loop, and I can't even get to HBOOT...
EDIT: Got to HBOOT after 20 sec power hold, removing sdcard

s-off is always the best way to go on any device.....just having the bootloader unlocked helps, but with this phone, it does limit you a lot.

Even after flashing another rom (basically stock) it still has me in a bootloop as if its loading the Sense 5 that was flashed earlier (After the white HTC screen, then goes to the black "HTC ONE")

Can I run the rumrunner from HBOOT?

so you can't even get to recovery?

what did you wipe before flashing the rom?

this is why you should always make a nandroid backup before flashing anything.

Got to Recovery and ran Superwipe, then redid the flashing, kernel/fastboot. Looks promising, got to sprint splash screen, android upgrading...

do not rely on superwipe.....you use that in conjunction of manually wiping.

make sure to wipe dalvik cache, cache, and system as well as data(factiry reset) then use superwipe before flashing a rom.

I'm on, but rumrunner is having issues.
ERROR: run rumrunner again and READ (no adb connection to device. Debugging on?
Drivers?)
Press ENTER to exit

ADB drivers are good, debugging is on... Im going to try this stock rooted rom.....

What have I gotten myself into.

EDIT: Going to reinstall ANDROID SDK first

LOL lets slow down and get to a stock rom first....i would use the 3.17 stock rooted rom to flash first and make sure yo manually wipe besides using supewipe.

SWEET BABY JESUS!!!!

Went right to hands free activation, activated, now everything is back to normal!!

I thought I was dead in the water after 3 days of this! I don't even know if I want to mess with anything now- I'm too afraid to go down that rabbit hole again!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
