Root Flashing problems

1st downloaded setcpu_2.24.zip from the xda developers site and when i go to flash I get

Installing update....
E:Can't find update script

And also when I go into recovery and it does the hboot thing it comes to the pc36img and says wrong image then would you like to update. I say yes. is this normal because it does it every time.

with the setcpu, do i have to update the first version first or is it just available through the market only now.

ok that PC36IMG file needs to be deleted or renamed. otherwise you keep insatlling whatever is in that file (my guess is that it is a custom recovery, probably amon ra). you do not need it anymore.

SetCPU is available through xda, market and 4shared.

Try buying it ;D

The developer definitely deserves the money, its such a great program.

Setcpu zip from xda is not a flashable zip it is simply an .apk zipped up. Extract it move the .apk to your phone and install through file browser of your choice.
