Yeah sure.

But its as simple as flashing via recovery. Just ensure you have plenty of power and don't drop it (causing power loss) whilst flashing.

oh also be aware it will look like the flashing hangs for about 15 seconds. this is normal, do not pull the battery

OK, decided to give .48 a try.

Flash was pretty straight forward, hardest part was trying to figure out how to go back in the recovery menu to get to the re-boot option screen, then I thought "I know, maybe I have to press the back button on the phone" !!!

A couple of times when it seemed to hang for a few seconds but all in all quite painless.
