For Those Getting EVO @ Sprint Store on Friday

Sounds to me like maybe that store is not getting very many and he is trying to keep you from going to another store... did you check around? I have like 10 corporate stores within 15 miles of me so Im not too worried, I would think there would be more stores around you as well besides that one.

Anyways good luck, guess we find out tomorrow.
 
probably going in the afternoon, there should definitely be stock left, especially since theres no 4g within 100 miles of the store.

Yeah, there are definitely other stores around. One other within walking distance of work (parking in downtown San Diego is a huge pain and would take forever).

It WAS an authorized retailer, not a corporate store, so it would make sense that they are getting less. The other one within walking distance is a corporate store, so I'm going to go talk to them when I get off work and see what they say. If they make it sound like there are going to be huge lines there also, I'm just going to put in my order to have it delivered to me on Monday.

the authorized dealer near me is only getting 5 :mad: .. luckily there is a corporate store just a few miles away so im hoping for the best

I like Waffle Houses too...but in San Antonio, tacos are the morning mainstay. Just the way we roll.
 
I'm glad some of you have been able to find out the number of units at your local sprint stores.... I called 4 different ones and NON of them would tell me. They said we don't know how many we have.... Really, in less then 12 hours you don't know how many you have?.?.?. WTF
 
My Sprint store will be opening at 8am. I will get there at 8am, I will not wait in any line, and my EVO will be waiting for me.

Apparently they like it when you port 5 lines from AT&T.:D
