I have an HTC EVO 4g. every time i try to access the android market i get (processcom.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly and then I have to force close. I can access the internet and all my apps work but can't get into the market. I am not a techie so please keep it simple... Help!

Hello and welcome aboard. Do this: From your home-screen, tap menu, then settings - applications - manage applications - all. Scroll down to the market application and clear data. Go back and open market and see if that fixes the problem. If this doesn't work, then maybe someone over your device's area of support might have a solution for you.

Also, I'll be moving your thread over to the EVO 4G forum. :)

Hi, It indeed did help to me. Unfortunately, after I went to "my apps" and then update all it crashed again. The first crash (loop) was also after I tried to install something. I suspect I must have corrupted internal memory or something, because I also suffer from boot-loop.

NVM, after googling for a while, uninstalling updates of google market helped (same screen as clear data).
