Help Forced Close

I got a new Desire after having problems after updating the 1st one. After installing a few apps I receive Force Close immediately after installing a few. Thinking app was bad or buggy I uninstalled them immediately and powered off and rebooted. The other day during a call the built in Phone App in 2.2 force closed while connected. (This desire I verified was new and had 2.2 install when received, new build I was told). My bluetooth communications has been intermittent people not hearing me or audio breaking up. I thought my bluetooth mirror was faulty but now I think the phone is the problem here as well. Other times it works flawlessly other than the voice command not understanding my command of who to call now an them. Big joke there when I am not alone.

I am returning this Desire and going to try a Fascinate.

lol?

have fun with your fascinate mate, end of the day if you aint happy you should move on.
be warned, its an android, your problem is android related :)

I know its Android. 1st phone after 2.1 to 2.2 update started having problems. Replace with new Desire with 2.2 installed and getting Forced Close on downloaded apps, Hmm though it was poorly develeped apps. But when I got the phone builtin apps Force close on a call. Well that weren't right. Also bluetooth was intermittent. Now I think it was also the Desire.

So I'll check it out. If it fails in 30 days I got elseware and maybe back. We'll see.

Cheers

Thx

i cant answer about bluetooth, i dont use mine with anything bluetooth as i use the cable for hands free.
as for the other stuff i cant remember the last time ive seen a force close. it could be the vendors 2.2 that is causing the problem

eitherway the fascinate might not have the same issues as its a different build.
your fault is one that people see from time to time but for it to be persistent is not that common.

be warned about samsungs tho, i had one and will never go back to one.
build quality is bad and samsung do not have a good support track record

So far after a day I am happy. Different way of doing some things and figuring that out. Built in Apps manager and file manager is a real plus. Camera is good in spite of no flash I was impressed an evening photo capability and auto white balance able to automatically configure for the lighting. Battery ran a full day and half with a fair amount of WiFi which kills the Desire battery fast.
