i was looking at cm7 themes and i found some for cm9 that were absolutely stunning.. I was just curious to know did any dev even consider it yet. not trying to have a debate its just a simple question.

ICS and Cm9 are very similar.
They may be the same thing. Not sure.

naw i think ics is just android version 4.0. i really dont want the rom. i want the cyanogen version where i have theme chooser. because im in love with cm7 which is ginger bread. i want cm9 so bad lol

CM9 is based off of ICS. They're both Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.X

CM10 is the newest CyanogenMod release. It's based off of the newest Android release dubbed Jelly Bean!

oh thats cool. i just googled it and read up on it. NICE.. lol and oh ok will cm9 have theme chooser tho? cause i want ice cream but i want it with cyanogen thats all...

Yes CM9 has the Theme Chooserbut most CM9 themes are hdpi or higher
yay..lol but oh ok im sure i can figure something out with that. so can i look forward to cm9 on this lovely phone of mine or am i gonna just dream about it ??

Raver is building aosp ics. Me on the other hand i built cm9 and cant get the touchscreen to work. Im days away from finshing it.

you need to add a .idc for the touchscreen to /system/user/idc and make the needed edits the the touchscreen driver in the kernel src n recompile. Then define touchscreen_legacy in the boardconfig.

ok i know the difference between ics and cm9 i prolly explained it wrong. i was saying i wanted cm9 rather than the regular ics rom. its not exciting to me. i need theme chooser! lol. thats all i was basically saying. cause everybody keep correcting me so i had to clear that up..
