Forgot to send in my rebate form....$#@!*

I bummed. I bought my Epic on launch day and just remembered about the rebate. From what I've read it is no longer valid. I guess this is exactly why Sprint uses rebates...for the idiots like me that forget to get them.

I now have a $349 Epic phone. Yea me.

I would try a polite call or two to Sprint. They can see bought in proper period and you never received one. The one time I had difficulty with a rebate they gave me a credit. Worth a shot

They use the same rebate form over and over they just change the dates. dont you have like 3 months to file a rebate?

I just sent mine in, and forget to put a stamp on it.

Snail mail, I never send you. Hopefully it comes back in a day or two.

Yes I think there are 3 months to send the rebate. Do it right away when you buy the phone so you don't forget it, or put a reminder on that Gmail calendar to pop up on your brand new Android phone you just bought... ;)

You just need to go to Sprint's website and print an up to date rebate form out.

I got my phone on launch day and it has a deadline when to send it in, so the rebate has expired.

If anyone has any ideas I would welcome them. I am going to call Sprint and
see what they can do.

I just did. The rebate form you have has expired, but you can print out an up to date one from Sprint's website. I waited too long as well, and almost mailed in the out of date form. I called Sprint and they said to just print out an up to date one from the website. You're fine.

I just got the new form but it states the purchase date must be between
10/28/10 and 1/8/11. I bought my on launch day 8/31/10.

I've still got to send mine in too, I thought mine was sent in when I bought my evo originally in August, but it wasn't. When I questioned Sprint about them not having a record of it, they told me to just write down my information with the rebate requirements and just send it in anyway, even if I don't have an official form. I'm planning on sending it in tomorrow.

Well...I called Sprints Rebate center and after talking to the rep he gave me my $100 rebate on my Epic. I don't have to send in any paperwork, he took care of it all. As a bonus, he saw there was another number on my account (for my Airrave) even though he called it a broadband card and set me up for a $50 rebate for that.

So far Sprint's customer service has been great.
