How about
Android
NS-5's : Green mercenaries of military , stats same as rogue NS-5's ,allegiance to Frisco is a must for special Green abilities .

Human classes
LolKat : special guerrilla forces . Wanderer .Uses melee combat

what about the HTCs High Technical Class... Dumb lol maybe something else for HTC lol

Sounds like "The HTC" could be a faction of ninjas and stevens that believe in Human superiority over androids, after all humans created the androids ;)

That works, makes me change my idea for the campaign (Frisco was gonna be the first NPC to give a mission but I like your idea better)

Alright I need to log off to go to sleep I may refresh a few more times ;) but I thought of a bit more history/setting to add

The countries of Archiven and Otros are both ruled by the mysterious "Apple Corp" not much is known about the Apple Corp other than we know at one point they were trying to manufacturer their own version of Androids called iBots and they claim to have invented the first modern personal transportation device called "iPods" which closely resemble hovercraft made by many other companies. Due to Apple Corp's iron curtain policy little is known about what is happening in either Archiven or Otros since they have taken power. There are humans who are still in favor of Apple Corp throughout the world, in general these people are call "Jobsist"

lol we can use creative commons just to protect ourselves(CC will be a shield ,GPLv3 will be the ultimate shield )

Edited my above post to say "Jobsist" since I think it sounds better.

I am really logging off this time. Later guys :D

Morning guys :)

Sorry your date didn't go well Marc but at least you have someone new to hang out with :) and she might be able to help you find someone

Android Classes:
Daleks: Strongest Offensive magic, lowest health, no defensive magic

Rogue NS-5: Even balance between defensive and offensive magic, more health than daleks but still less than humans

Marvins: Defensive magic, must declare allegiance to Phases, equal health to admin devotees

Human Classes:
Admin Devotee: Healing and defensive magic, must declare allegiance to Rob, lowest human health

Ninja: Weak offensive magic, student of science, most health of any magical class

Steven: Non-magical class, devoted to self improvement, highest health of all classes

I like the dalek, except I would say that the DW dalek have lots of armor and few vulnerabilities. This would cause a balance issue (since daleks are super awesome everyone would want to be one). Since they are encased in armor, give them a little defensive ability and slightly less health. Or switch them with the ns-5's.

I am confused since I don't know the campaign rules that you are basing it off of.

I like the rolls and epic fail/win stuff.

We are making everything up as we go along the shadowrun thing I posted was just for setting. We still need to determine stats, skills, specifics for race and class, and the health/damage system before we have a game.

If you want we can switch the dalek with the rogue ns-5. The idea is make every class as balanced as possible

Yeah, I was just pointing that out, I understand the balance stuff. What is the NS-5 from?

I am even more unfamiliar with Syrons than I am with Daleks ;)

Since you guys seem to be stuck on class I have an idea. Instead of taking the class approach why don't we come up with a point/buy system for character creation, you choose the race best suited for you what you want to do and base your attributes around what you want to do with your character. This would be easier IMO than having 10 classes to choose from and if you don't like your class or decide you want to try something different you can change as you gain experience.

Here is an idea about character creating. Attributes being: Strength, Agility, Body, Charisma, Intelligence, and Willpower.

Strength is physical strength it would affect how hard you punch, or if you can knock down a door with brute force.
Agility affects your ability to dodge attacks as well as ranged attacks
Body is health of your character and any natural armor
Charisma is your personal effect on others, it would affect trying to charm other
Intelligence is book smarts and basis for arcane magic
Willpower is the basis for divine magic as well as your ability to resist temptation

You start by choosing your race. Next you must determine if you want a character that has the ability to use magic or not this decision can not be changed at any point later. If you are Android you must be magical.

Human base stats are:
S:3
A:3
B:3
C:0
I:0
W:0

Android base stats are:
S:0
A:0
B:0
C:3
I:3
W:3

Now to explain the point system. You begin with 15 additional attribute points you can distribute however you wish. Every attribute must have at least 1 point. An average attribute is considered a 4. You may not have any attribute above 6 at the time of creation. If you are a non-magic user your intelligence and willpower may not be above 4. If you are a magic user your related stat must be at least a 5.

An example character could be:
Name: Spammer
Race: Non-magical Human
S:5
A:5
B:6
C:4
I:2
W:2

While Spammer wouldn't be the brightest individual he is tries to influence people over and over, no matter how much you hurt him he always seems to come back. He can be sneaky thanks to his high agility but often when he gets caught he is too dumb to talk his way out of it.

An example of how a skill will be used, say you wish to kick down an average door, the GM would decide how hard it is and assign a difficulty to it. I would say kicking a door in would be something a little challenging to an average person so I would assign it a difficulty of 10. You would "roll" and add your strength to the roll. I will use Spammer to see if he was able to kick the door down or not with this post. I will edit to add if the door was kicked down by spammer or not.

Edit: my post ID is 3986887 so against the difficulty of 10 I rolled a 7 plus spammer's 5 strength so Spammer kicked the door down.

We still need to figure out magic and health if you like this idea. After that we could likely begin playing :D
