Foursquare v. I can has problems

So I just dl'd the FourSquare app from the marketplace, and when I tried to register through my phone it keeps timing out and/or giving me an error message. When I touch the home button and relaunch it just takes me back to the registration screen. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

*-I would try to just register on a computer but websense, social networking site, etc.

Foursquare is having all sorts of problems today. I've been on it a while, and when I tried to check in this morning from several places I kept getting a "The request is timing out" and "The system is overloaded, please try again later" errors.

I just tried it now (about 1pm CDT) and got through.
