Root Fourth time getting that awful TEST MODE!

Just 2 minutes ago at work, phone froze, rebooted and wadda ya know... test mode...how nice.. im just tired of it :|. i wish there was a way i can reprogram the phone through the phone itself...
 
Ugh. I hate to hear that dude. If the whole damn phone didn't get zero'd out then the test mode wouldn't be a problem cause the fix takes all of half a second. It's reprogramming the damn thing that sucks.

yeap! thats the big issue all the time, and it doesnt help when you call metro and ask them to reset the phone and they want to act like heroes and try other things besides doing what im asking :confused: , im on the phone right now with them arguing with them to just reset the damn phone lol. ugh
 
Sorry i am late to the activity. I see you trying to get metro pcs to reset the account i have a post on here from the samething zero out . I know a friend at metro and was told only the supervisor can do the online programing . This is the one that u do the *228 and 5 just like it was taken out of the box . The reason is the supervisor has to get some code and excuse to why they reset . It isn't no person other than the shift supervisor that can do this . And if the problem has left you without service for a few days they can prorate your bill. So if they give u a hard time ask for shift supervisor :eek: and watch look and learn and when they say you done look at where you seen zeros and now see numbers :eek:

exactly ! lol . he was asking all these questions and telling me to do different things, when all i asked him to do was reprogram the damn thing . happens every time, doesnt fail lol .

good to know. if they give me a hard time ill make sure to ask for the supervisor.
 
By the way, he did do the reset and reprogram. Back to my service. clock is ticking until the dreaded plague strikes again O.o
 
dont know if this will help you all any but heres how i got out and it only took 3 min or so use the "LG Test Mode Repair" on the computer with your phone that alone got me out of test mode but still no service used metro's manual programming codes to do the programming myself "google it if you dont know it" then hit edit on your phone enter your cell number the "MIN" number "that you need from metro wright it down it never changes" then enter the "SID" number after my phone rebooted i was in roaming dialed *228 waited about 2 min phone restarted and everything was in working order again "if your phone is in working order now you can enter metro's manual programming code and just VIEW to get them 3 number and keep them in a safe place" dont know if it will work for everyone but it worked for me
