Theoretically, a band could release an album to demonoid (or release it for free on their site, and I imagine it's still legal to download on demonoid). Or there's public-domain stuff. Or say I want to share some home movies with friends (a lot of friends, I'm really popular) and decide to put it up on demonoid? Or maybe I've just created a new comic book and want it to get lots of exposure.

But you put stipulations on getting a code to a site that knowingly has illegal stuff on it for download.

...I think I'm not understanding your point. Photoshop can be used to make illegal images... that doesn't mean the program itself should be banned.

I got my photoshop brush pack off demonoid, that was perfectly legal! also whats everyone upload ratios out of curiosity? i think im at about 5gigs uploaded for every gig downlioaded
