Root Free unlimited mobile hotspot, indefinitely

A friend of mine told me that the T-bolt can be rooted and configured so that 4G mobile hotspot is free for unlimited data, indefinitely. He said it's easy to do. I'm not saying I'd do this, but I'm curious if anybody knows about this - ?
 
theoretically speaking... yes,its possible. youll need to root your phone and then install one of the "for root only" wireless tether apps.

at least thats what ive heard. ;)

what kind of "bunny" are you looking for? a semi-automatic "bunny"? :p
 
It would be like the Wireless Tether app I had on my Rooted Eris? I hope so, that thing was a lifesaver!

There are multiple apps that accomplish this. Barnacle is another.
The bolt comes with a built in hotspot but even after root Verizon's version isn't free.

yes, just GOOGLE some apps or CODE sources for it...:)

"i don't know. whatever kind of 'bunny' you think is best for shooting a guy in the head"---love this episode. one of the better ones.
