Help Free Weather App?

I thought I had read on here that The Weather Channel App is free, but it looks like there's a monthly subscription. Does anyone know of a free weather app? Thanks!

Same, Love the weather channel app, and widget.

Only issue I have with it is I want notifications in the notifications bar, but without the sound, and cant seem to get that configured correctly.

I'm a huge fan of the free weatherbug (the non-elite version). It does pretty much everything the elite version does except has ads, but I never really notice them.

You are saying when there is a warning, you get a sound alarm? If so, how did you turn that on?

Take a look at MY-Cast Weather. Not a free app, but I prefer their radar over TWC. Try it for 23 hours and return if you don't like it.

The only time I see the settings are when you put a widget on the screen somewhere. It asks if you want the widget to show weather for a specific location or to follow you (which is what i choose) and there are notification settings. I choose to show notifications, and click "silent" for the notification sound but i still get my default notification beep for some reason.

I've got Rainy Days that works better than the TWC radar. It uses Google Maps too.

Sad to say , but until 2.2 comes out with better support for animated .gifs, none of the radar maps look good to me.
On my old (feature phone) Dare and winmo Omnia, I used weather underground which had great animated radar.
For now I just use TWC.
