FRESH 2.1.1 to 2.0d

I'm wanting to flash back to 2.0d but didn't save my nandroid for that particular ROM. I'm currently running 2.1.1, and have been for some time now. While I like 2.1.1, 2.0d just seemed to run better for me. My question is do I need to wipe before I flash or can I just flash 2.0d over 2.1.1? I didn't wipe when going from 2.0d to 2.1.1 and everything worked fine but I wasn't sure if I could do the same thing going the other way. Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!

I doubt you could get away with not wiping it, but no matter what I always wipe. You don't have to worry about problems if you wipe. You'll spend longer if you have to pull battery, nandroid, then try again.

First thing I would ask is did you make a nandroid backup when running 2.0d? If so, just restore it, no wipe needed.

Second, if you went from 2.0d to 2.1.1 w/out a wipe and all went well, then what is the harm in trying to go from 2.1.1 to 2.0d w/out a wipe? If it fails or something doesn't work right, then you go back and re-flash but this time wipe :)

2.0d worked so much better for me as well, thats why I'm still on it. And I too would recommend flashing back to 2.0d without wiping.

Flashed 2.0d this morning over 2.1.1. Everything has been working fine so far, and already seems to be less buggy than 2.1.1. LWP's again FTW!!!!!
