i am very happy with my battery life since unplugging around 7am this morning.

What app is that in your screenshots?

so. before i flashed it, i needed to wipe. i did that.

now, whenever my phone turns off and comes back on--i have to re-setup everything.
I want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly. I get it that you knew you had to wipe before you flashed, and that you did so. After wiping and flashing, you rebooted and all your screen setups were gone, which is normal.

Are you now saying that after wiping, flashing, rebooting, restoring or reinstalling all your apps, and resetting your screens back to the way you like them, that if you reboot the phone again, all your restorations are gone again? If so, that is not normal.

Restoring once is normal. Restoring every time is an issue. I would highly recommend that once your phone is back to the way you want it, back everything up. Immediately. Use Titanium, MyBackup Pro, ASTRO, whichever or all. Definitely, absolutely run a nandroid. Whatever you've got, throw the book at it. That way, until you get this sorted out, you can restore as quickly as possible.

Titanium and MyBackup are great tools for backing up and restoring your apps and preferences when switching ROMs. For the quickest, easiest way to get back to the *same setup* on the *same ROM*, with minimum time and effort, the power tool of choice would be nandroid backup and restore.

I notice both my wife and myself are both on fresh 3.2 with netarchy 4.1.9.1 and I just had to take her cpu to 998 mhz. it keeps rebooting at 1.19 and 1.15 every couple hours or so. do you guys think this is due to fresh, the over clocking or froyo? I notice prior to me doing any rooting when I got to froyo is when we notice the rebooting. I think there's a glitch in froyo that's causing the rebooting for some evo's.

Would have to be her phone, I've never heard of anybody else not being able to get to at least 1152. I'm using Fresh 3.2.0.0, OC'd to 1152. Mine locks up if I got higher than that.

after a solid week on this i dunno how everyone is getting amazing battery life, im an auto body tech so i leave my phone in my tool box all day so it doesnt get damaged

before i would end the day with 80-85% left on adverage (no funny youtube vids to show my co workers that day, into the 70's if there was a bunch of funny new vids) but with this version of fresh i check my phone at the end of the day down at 50% or less

i have 3 bars or more in my box usually, all the radios off....what gives

Make sure your evo is not staying awake. I got home from a wedding party last night, battery was at 65-70 and i woke this well mid day, and bat was only down to 58%

How do i keep it from being awake...?
My Evo says right now,
Up time: 00:13:50
Awake time: 00:13:50

EDIT: Wait, i was connected as disk drive.
Now its 18:40 and 15:26. Never mind.
What do you mean the evo stays awake though..? Like the screen stays on in your pocket?

flashed 3.2, all is well so far, gave appbrain a try for restoring apps...went fairly smooth, but i wasn't able to do a mass restore like i can with mybackup, had to okay the permissions one at a time, is that what everyone experiences or is there a better way?

Regardless, I have a question. Since the ROM isn't signed and thus requires a wipe, can we expect future updates from Flipz to be re-signed, thus requiring another wipe? Curious about what to expect.

Same thing with me when i did that. Didnt really save me much time, i might try something else next time.

Titanium backup does sms, settings etc so i might dload that and try it next

i was hoping that use of fast web installer would make it seemless but maybe i didnt proceed with it the correct way

the fast web installer is completely amazing, otherwise

If by awake you mean screen on, no I have it to time out but I usually hot the power button anyway when I put it down or in my pocket

I re flashed this morning I guess I'll see if that helps
