Friends on AF?

I was just wondering if any of you happen to be friends IRL with anyone on AF. I was poking around a particular thread and noticed a username that I've come to associate with a friend of mine... So I'm doing some recon (ie: viewing recent posts) to see if it might be the same person. :D:rolleyes:

And based on what I found, I'm about 95% sure it's the same person.

So, are any of your friends or real world pals on AF. I know a few users have spouses on AF, but I don't know if I've heard of anyone's friends hanging out with them on AF.

;)

To clarify, this isn't to say that our online pals are not as good, I would definitely consider quite a few members as online friends... and I'm sure we'd be pretty good pals IRL too... :D
 
I know I have a cousin that frequents here because I've seen him recommend the site to people, but I don't know his username. :p
 
all my friends are lame as they have an icrap for a phone so i have no one to recommend this site to except for a few people. for me i see a few people here that lives in LA. i always wonder if the person next to is someone that i have helped or talked to here.
 
I have a friend with a Nexus. He's well ROMed but I don't think he visits the site much. More than happy to give him advice though.

Heh. That's pretty much how it goes with anyone I know that has an android phone too. I don't know any of my friends who have signed up here.
 
Hmm interesting. Last semester I tried to talk someone into joining, I'm guessing they didn't, but I would have no way of knowing for sure either way I guess ;)
 
I have converted most, if not all of my friends from iOS to Android. But most of them stay stock. I have one who uses CM7 and CM9 but I don't think he is on the forum here. I know he reads XDA but don't think he posts.
 
I have three referrals under my stats (I guess when someone signs up they have the option of saying who referred them) so I suppose there could be three people I know in the RL on here. I just have no idea who they are. I have come across members that are geographically close to me as in the same town or next town over.
 
My parents both have accounts here, but I have no idea what their user names are. I recommend the site to people all the time, but like most of you, I have no idea if they ever join.

Yes, my buddy who bought my Triumph from me is now a member and learning the beauty that is known as Android.
