Fring now supports Skype video between EVO & iPhone 4

I think this is great news. We are one step closer to having all front facing video camera phones being able to talk to each other.

Now fring just needs to seriously polish up their app. At its current state its kinda painful. I want skype to release their own app with video chat between mobile phones too.

Set up a skype account on your PC. then set up Fring on your EVO. then link your Fring to Skype on the EVO.

I have a skype account, with many contacts on the PC
I have a Fring account.
I logged into Fring, then logged into Skype on the Evo. No skype contacts have loaded and its been a few days now. Am I missing a step?

anyone have the old APK? (i suppose that wont work anyway though)..

I had a hell of a problem with Fring yesterday. First time using it. I made my acct, and could talk to others. I turned it off, then later tried again and I could not login ever again.

Same here. Said my login stuff was wrong. I haven't tried today though. Probably had to do that cause too many people were using it at once.


Also I did a video call between myself and a friend with an iPhone 4. It was neat. It froze a little bit cause I didn't have a good signal at the time, and he may not have either. I'm glad we can do it now though. Didn't take as long as I thought it would.

Mine also said incorrect Login. However, I tried it later then it let me log in.
