Root Front facing camera.

So I have a nexus 7, and I was looking through the XDA Forums for some goodies. One mod especially grabbed my attention, basically the front facing camera was able to record in 720p. I'm not a big user of the camera but I was wondering if it could be ported to our esteem, because I know someone in the community would probably like it.

You took the words right from my mouth. The front camera on this phone is sad. I've never used it but maybe once, but still...

I second this post, I'd love to see an update for the front cam... I may actually use it then.
 
I doubt it would work because I dont think the actual camera is able to do it. Not sure though.
 
Idk i mean the camera in the nexus 7, is 1.2 mega pixels, and the esteem is 1.3... i don't know much about programing, and such but I doubt there's much of a difference. Like i said, I rarely use the camera so it's just an extra bonus for me. :D

Pixels isnt what makes a camera "good". ;)
 
Maybe all you have to to make it work for the esteem is turn phone ringer halfway up notification volume all the way down and alarm volume all the way up...those kind of thing usually makes camera mods work. ;) ;)
