My daughter's tablet is on password lock screen after we "reset it".as directed by company. How do we get thru that so she can use her Proscan PLT7223G tablet for school???

If it turns out that you need to fully factory reset the device, there's video instructions for that HERE.
After you are up and running, consider using Android Device Manager to avoid future lockouts if it is an option for you.
