Help Full bars slow data?

I have all my bars, in pretty good coverage. Full signal. But I'm getting 1mb up and 1mb down. I've seen better than that around the forums. How is that possible?!

Is there anyway to make it better?

only thing i would do is update roaming list, and if that doesnt work pull the battery and uicc card for about 5 minutes. But also metro has been doing alot of tower updates lately and maybe thats the reason.

I have the same did the 228 like 6times in a hour i guess this is the system merger they talking about this funny cause i live near a cell phone tower. I used tohave good signal

Did it work? Lol I live in Hialeah, Florida. I had better signal back then.

Yeah but it is slow at times in the browser but if I am on wifi it moves great heel toe without a beat.. Try it out I don't think metro put a limit on the phone for the *228

Your "bars" have nothing to do with data. Data and service indicators are separate. You can have no service what so ever and have full 4g or vice versa. So have just 1 bar doesn't mean you have slow 4g or data.
