Root Full HDMI probs...

Guys Im having problems with full hdmi for evo.My tv acknowladges my phone but when i run the HDMwIn app the tv loses the signal.Any ideas?????? Im running MikRoms-Supersonic 3D Beta EVO 4G[sense 3.5 GB 2.3.5. THANKS and sorry if im in the wrong thread !!!

what kernel are you using?
 
You are in the right place but I havent tried doing this yet. However i think there are only a few kernels that support full hdmi out and i dont think they are for the 3.5 roms. I could be wrong hang in and someone else will fill u in.
 
kernel version is 2.6.35.10-g13578ee htc-kernel@and18-2 #1 jul 20 2011,wich I think is the stock kernel. maybe someone is using a kernel thats working. I downloaded kernel manager but I just dont know wich one too install. :/
 
I got it guys !!!! I installed 2.3.3-1-793-HDMwIn-Sense233-Alpha-signed kernel and it works like a charm.I just had to do a little research and messing around. THANKS GUYS !!!!!!
