Root fully bricked zmax?

Vol up and power to recovery. I just tried to use the tools in twrp and I was able to read the system again but when I tried to flash aicp I lost it again.

Okay so I'm gonna a post this just in case some one runs into this problem. I could get the system to mount so I when to wipe in twrp and clicked advance wipe and then chose to change file system. I choose ext4 and it worked. The system is back trying G to flash again and it taking a while but I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

That's what I was going to say you just needed to format system. The original problem was probably caused by interrupting the process of installing a ROM or restoring a backup. If the process gets interrupted it will corrupt the partition and you will have to format it.

Thanks so much masterchief your awesome. It worked and thanks for taking the time to help. Pm a way to buy you a beer.
I don't ask for or accept donations.
I just saw your boot animation for aicp can I pull that to put it on my Lg stylo?
Yes, just go to /system/media and copy bootanimation.zip to /sdcard and then transfer it to your Stylo. On your Stylo, go to /system/media and rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak or move it to your SD card. Finally, put the AICP bootanimation.zip in /system/media and set the permissions to rw-r--r-- and reboot system.

I tried to switch the boot animation and no dice. No biggie. It didn't have the metro boot animation but it didn't have the aicp one either.

Hey @Masterchief87 sorry to resurrect my really old thread, but I just wanted to ask you something.. I still have the z970 and would like to make it usable again, do you think if i could replace the motherboard in the zmax it would be like new again? I found a spare motherboard on ebay here: http://goo.gl/PHGvD5
if this works then I might have found a brick solution for myself. *crossing fingers*
