So speaking of the Olympics ...
On a serious note, Michael Phelps, greatest athlete in recent history? I think there's conversation to be had. Heard them arguing on the radio a month or two ago about what athlete you'd be talking to your kids or grand kids about and they were saying Payton Manning, Tiger Woods, LeBron James ... I think Phelps is maybe a once in a lifetime sort of thing, we're talking about 12 years of domination in a sport and competition that normally favors the young. Beside breaking records that have stood for THOUSANDS of years in Olympic competition. I mean really does anyone have a resume like him, in any sport?

Jesse Owens won 4 gold medals, embaressed Hitler and beat a horse. He was 20th century though so I guess not.
