True, but I also know plenty of Americans of my generation who can't cope with manual gears.
(The USA is the only place I've ever driven a car with automatic transmission - it's very different this side of the Pond).

My new(y-ish) car is automatic, first one I've in years and years. I still find myself wanting to shift and my clutch foot just can't stay still
Our bearded friends here excluded. 
I grew some peach fuzz for the bicentennial and had my first full beard in '79 which, as it turns out, has been there ever since. My beard is 40 years old --- older than many of our members. 
And, of course the hand cream is organic ... it's made from bears.

Unfortunately @Martha Moser , those keyboard emoji's don't translate to Xenforo (the platform AF uses), but if you knew anything about me, you would know I would never waste a good beer on hand cream.
