the media player and touch pad are ok for me
my problem was that when i got notification it was as loud as hell and now its low and nice

1.6.3.1 is very good, i dont have battery/no sleep problem any more! After 15 h - 20 sms, 20 min call, 1 h wifi battery is at 90%!

I have not had the no-sleep bug either, but I'm assuming at this point it's just random luck...as opposed to nonrandom luck. ;)

when you unplug a cable from the audio jack using samsung official headset it can trigger media to play and with new speaker volume you dont want this to happen.

audio touch pad is as loud as notification only you cant turn it down, only turn it off

tryed the issue with the media and headset and it seems to happend only if the media widget is on the screen, without it its not happening to me

the touch pad sound is disabled by default for me, hate the sound....

interesting about the widget, i always have the widget as im a music fiend and use it alot.

ive had to disable the touch pad sound now. for a laugh enable it and press a button in the office LOLOL

Removed the default Music player and put on Meridian instead. Works fine, even with widget. Will try to rip the player from JC6 and install tonight when I get home.

Any recomendations for a slimeline music player to help keep the ram clear?

i found an app called "Volume Button Controller"

try to reduce "System" volume, it works for me:)

music is louder (a little)
in call volume is now audible with headsets
speaker phone is LOUD and i mean LOUD
dial pad still doesnt vibrate (no big deal for me)
music player doesnt always show notification
if you play music without headset its so loud with the gain that it can potentially damage the speaker (i only knew this as there was no notification that music was playing and i pulled out the headset, i pood my pants at the audio onslaught that ensued)
Rastaman didn't you install some custom files last month in an effort to solve audio issues? Maybe that has caused your bug?

yes but they were overwritten by the 1.6.3.1 update as i did a wipe and update.zip replaces everything but the radio stack.
its a reported issue with alot of other users aswell. so it think its safe to say its not unique to my setup

I've not had the no-sleep bug yet [crosses fingers], and I've even been running with "use wireless networks" (for location) turned on.

One important note: I don't generally use this phone for phone calls.

mine seems to work...I use Compass v1.1 from Snaptic. It's roughly accurate...not positive how accurate, though.

Anyone noticing their alarm sometimes won't go off? I have JC6, Galaxo 1.6.3.1 and AdvLauncher 2.1 running - anyone aware of issues with these? Will Galaxo be killing the process possibly?

I don't use the alarm. I do notice that when I "close" a program by hitting the home key that the program actually does usually close. Which is a pain because if it's Opera I'd rather it open to the last page I was on.

Does it do it with other programs? I've heard of that with the various browsers - but was pretty sure that's a memory thing.

well it didn't do it with browsers until galaxo. I don't know about other programs just yet...I'll keep an eye out.

yeah drakaz mem thresholds are a bit aggressive. he posted a patch that is a little less aggro but its still a bit funny. im not that bothered by it though

Meridian loses the resume function 50% of the time for video. Never for Audio.

Hey all, I am starting to get error messages " error processor core gateway error" and "android.process.acore" not responding, anyone else had these ? I am not over-clocking Galaxo 1.6.3.1 at the moment, just a little bit when I play games on the phone, are these serious or just sort of normal ?
