[Moussa12]

hi guys i have the unlocked GSM galaxy nexus with the yakjuxw variant which is supported by Samsung and i want to flash it to the takju variant which is supported directly from google because android 4.2 is already out for the takju galaxy nexus and i really don't want to wait for 2 months so Samsung decide to push the update...so can you provide me a step by step guide on how to flash my phone from yakjuxw to takju?
i have android 4.1.1 runnig on my galaxy nexus.

I second this method but would also suggest you wait a few days before updating to 4.2. Yakju is the version you will want, I'm surprised it wasn't released today but it should be available shortly. While I doubt there are any major differences, takju is the US only version and yakju is the international version -- the most noticeable difference (but apparently not the only one) is that yakju does not include Google Wallet, which doesn't work outside the US.
