Galaxy Nexus Screen in Sun Light?

As some know I was a little critical of the GNex after the Hong Kong showing, however after going through some back and fourth posts with my fellow forum members...I finally decided to try the GNex kool aid...Mmm, tastes good...lol

Anyway, from the very beginning I said I would most likely give it a serious trial run along side the Razr when they drop...which still holds true.

My question to my peeps is this...

How do you guys see the Super Amoled screen on GNex holding up in the sun? I remember my Fascinate being ehhh, and my DROID Charge being way better because of it having the Super Amoled+ vs the regular Super Amoled.

Thoughts?

Hopefully it's as bright as the charge screen... That's about the only thing that the charge has going for it.

I'm sure sunlight won't be an issue. I know that you guys know what you're talking about, but I feel like that's just a SAMOLED stereotype.

If you've got your phone on minimum brightness to conserve battery power, OF COURSE its not going to be visible outside. You can't get both. Keep your phone on auto-brightness and it won't be a problem.

I know when I had a fascinate the screen was easily viewable in sunlight compared to the lcd and other screens available at the time.

It was decent...lightyears better then the DROID Incredible when it shipped with the Amoled...DROID Charge was really good in sunlight...I wish I still had the Fascinate to compare it to the Charge.

What I can't wait to do is have the...

GNex, Razr, Charge, and Bionic out on my deck comparing screens in Sunlight.

HTC wouldn't know a good display if it walked up and smacked them in the face.

I asked this same question in another thread, and they advised me to check out a GS/GS2 phone. I have a coworker with one, so he set it to max brightness and we went outside. No problems.

My Eris , Droid , EVO and Incredible were all pretty bad in sunlight my Fascinate was imo very good until I got an Iphone4 and that was perfect in sunlight (not enough to make me keep it for more then 2weeks though) . My Thunderbolt is okay slightly better then the Incredible but not as good as the Fascinate .
