Galaxy Nexus Updates to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Actually, the Galaxy Nexus updated to 4.2 in November. While I realize you are talking about the Verizon Galaxy Nexus, it is worth remembering that there are users on this forum of at least three Galaxy Nexus versions, so it helps to include which Version you are referencing.

Just got my ota update. If there are new radios I don't see a difference sitting here in my family room.

I've been on it for a couple of weeks (installed the leak). I don't see a bit of difference with the new radios though.

I'm not really worried about signal improvements (I normally get 2-4 bars indoors on 4G anyway). I'm wondering about other miscellaneous bugfixes like handoffs, Wifi, and Bluetooth.

New radios will not improve signal strength... The update could mess with the signal bars to make it appear you have better signal though :)

Radio updates will only "improve" the handoff between different network signals. For example, a new radio might change the signal threshold where the phone switches from 4G to 3G.

Good post on what radios will and won't do:

I never used it, but has anyone else noticed that "developer options" is now missing after update to 4.2.2.

Yes. As of 4.2, you need to enable development options by going to about phone, and tapping the build number 5 times. Then development options is unlocked.
